Happy 47th Birthday, SINGAPORE!!

Yes, it's 9th August 2012! (I actually posted this when the clock on my wall struck 12 am!!) And I have been singing the National Anthem since yesterday night.

You may think I'm exaggerating, but I DO love Singapore to a large extent. (Come on, I'm SINGAPORE Complain Queen afterall leh. LOL)

I came up with a "HEY SINGAPORE" series for my cartoon artwork. What do you think?

And here is a crazy "poem" I came up with a few weeks ago:

There's no place like Singapore,

one Crescent five stars and a lion's roar.

This is where I give my all.

I love Singapore to the core!

There's no place I'd rather be,

as Singapore is the home for me.

Here we have the MRT,

sleep on Reserved, count to three.

Take a photo, turn and flee,

and soon it's you on STOMP I see!

Speaking Singlish is the way,

I'll tell you how to say.

End your words with "LAH" or "LEH",

now you can speak it straightaway.

Katong Laksa, BakKutTeh,

local delights make my day.

9th of August I shout "YAY",

let's celebrate NDP at Marina Bay!
